When an older home has rusty water, poor pressure, or one leak after another, patching the pipe one spot at a time stops making sense. Drain Edge Rooter replaces aging galvanized, failing copper, and problem polybutylene supply piping with PEX or copper, and reroutes under-slab lines through walls and attics after slab leaks.

Signs It May Be Time to Repipe
- Brown or rusty water, especially first thing in the morning
- Low pressure at several fixtures
- More than one leak in a short period, or repeated slab leaks
- Galvanized pipe that has never been replaced in a pre-1970 home
- Visible corrosion on exposed pipe and fittings
PEX or Copper
PEX is flexible, resists scale and freeze damage, and needs fewer fittings, so installs are faster with fewer wall openings. Copper is durable and long-proven. We explain the tradeoffs for your house and budget.
How a Repipe Works
We plan the route, cut small openings in drywall, run new lines to each fixture, pressure test, and close up. Most homes keep water service each night during the job. Work is permitted and inspected where the city requires it. If you only need part of the house done, such as a reroute around a slab leak, we can do that too.
Old Railroad Towns, Old Pipe
Rialto, San Bernardino, Riverside, and their neighbors grew up along the rail lines in the early 1900s, Fontana’s older neighborhoods go back to the 1940s, and many older neighborhoods across the Inland Empire still have the plumbing materials of those eras: cast-iron drains, clay sewer laterals, and galvanized water pipe. Much of that pipe is now past its expected life. Rust, scale, cracked joints, and root intrusion are the result, and they are behind a large share of the sewer, water line, and repiping calls we get in older homes.
