This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Drain Edge Rooter (“we,” “us”) collects on drainedgerooter.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. It also serves as our notice at collection for California residents.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, service address and details about your plumbing job when you call, text, email or contact us to request service.
- Information collected automatically: standard server logs kept by our web host (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time), and basic visitor statistics from WordPress.com / Jetpack Stats (pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, browser and device type).
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or precise geolocation.
How we use it
- To respond to you and provide the service you asked for; to schedule and perform plumbing work; to send estimates, invoices and service follow-ups
- To run, secure and improve the website
- To comply with the law and protect our rights
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business (such as our web host, email provider, payment processor and website statistics provider), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and Do Not Track
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad pixels. Our statistics tool may use a small cookie or similar technology to count visits. Because we do not track you across other websites, we treat browsers the same whether or not they send a Do Not Track signal. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including business, tax and legal records, and then delete it.

Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
