Drain Cleaning in Highland, CA
Store-bought drain cleaner rarely reaches the real clog, and it can damage older pipes. We clear Highland drains with cable machines and, when needed, water jetting, then tell you what caused the blockage. Highland is northeast of our Rialto shop on the 210, usually a quick trip.
Our shop is in Rialto, close enough that Highland is part of our everyday route. Drain Edge Rooter is licensed (C-36 #1078977) and open 24 hours. Call (909) 927-3194 any time of day.

Plumbing conditions in Highland
Highland grew up from citrus country at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains. The older part of town around Palm Avenue and Base Line still has homes from the early and middle 1900s, while the streets off Boulder and Victoria Avenues are mostly later tract housing.
Tree roots look for water, and the joints of older clay and cast-iron laterals are an easy way in, so roots are a frequent cause of main line clogs in Highland. Much of Highland is served by the East Valley Water District from groundwater and Santa Ana River water, and it runs hard enough that scale shows up on valves, cartridges and water heaters.
Where we work in Highland
Further east, East Highlands Ranch and the Greenspot Road area are newer planned neighborhoods with more modern piping. Because Highland sits right at the foot of the mountains, a lot of yards have rocky or decomposed-granite soil and mature trees, both of which matter when we have to dig or run a camera down a sewer line.

Working in Highland
Highland is a short trip from Rialto on the 210 east. We use the Base Line, Palm Avenue, Boulder Avenue and Greenspot Road exits, and SR-330 for homes toward the mountain end of town.
Older Highland homes near Palm Avenue and Base Line can have galvanized supply lines and clay sewer laterals from the original construction. In East Highlands Ranch, the homes are newer, but HOA rules can affect access, parking and work hours, which we plan around.
Because Highland sits at the base of the mountains, many lots have rocky or decomposed-granite soil. That matters for digging sewer repairs and can affect how quickly water drains in a yard, so we take it into account when we plan the work.
Our process
We start by listening. Then we inspect, and if a camera or test is needed to be sure, we tell you before we do it. You get clear options, a price you agree to before work begins, and a final check together at the end so you know the problem is solved.
Why choose Drain Edge Rooter in Highland
We keep it simple: find the cause, fix it properly, and charge what we quoted. See our drain cleaning services overview or the Highland service area page.
Drain Cleaning FAQ for Highland
Why does my drain keep clogging?
Repeat clogs usually mean something is narrowing the pipe, like grease build-up, scale, roots, or a sagging section. A camera inspection shows which one it is so the fix lasts.
Should I use chemical drain cleaner first?
We do not recommend it. Chemical cleaners seldom clear the full blockage, can damage older pipes and seals, and make the work more hazardous once a plumber opens the line.
How do I know if it is the main line?
If more than one fixture is slow, if the tub fills when the toilet flushes, or if water comes up at the lowest drain in the house, the clog is probably in the main line.
What should I avoid putting down the drain?
Grease, wipes, paper towels, coffee grounds and large amounts of food scraps cause most of the household clogs we clear.
Do you serve all of Highland?
Yes. Highland is northeast of our Rialto shop on the 210, usually a quick trip, and we cover the older neighborhoods off Palm Avenue and Base Line, the area around Greenspot Road, homes near the San Manuel and Yaamava’ area and the rest of the city, 24 hours a day.
